When I decided I wanted a puppy I went to our local pet store to look for that special pet. When I saw miffy I knew she was the one. She was the most beautiful little maltese I ever saw. When I ask the sales person if I could see her, it was love at first sight for both of us. I knew because she grabbed my skirt tale and started dragging me to the the door.
She became my very best friend. We went every where together. She loved riding in the car. We always took her on vacation with us. For my husband and me, she was our baby. She loved chasing other dogs that was much bigger than her. She was never afraid of anything.
Everyday when I would come home from work, she would always be at the door waiting for me. I miss that so much. She always slept on the bed with me. That is where she found her final resting place. She was 8 years old when she got liver cancer.
There was nothing I could but love her till the end. On Feb. 6th, 2004, the day after my birthday she left me. She went in her sleep. I will always love Miffy. She will always be in my heart and I look forward to meeting her at the rainbow bridge. I love you Miffy.
