My sweet little Buster,
I still cry daily over you. It has been over a month now since your “home-going” to the Lord. I know you already know about Peanuts, our new little brother that I am trying to adopt from a rescue group. God willing he will be coming home to stay with Mommy, Button, Willie, and Tiny. I know you approve. Peanuts will help heal my broken heart over you and I can help him heal from his abandonment. His family was moving and left him at a dog pound to be put to sleep.
He is 15 years old and still full of life.
Life is so precious! I know Peanuts time with me won’t be very long, but it will be as it should be, as our time together here on earth was as God planned it. I will always love you my little “Budsturd”! Death cannot separate us because of the love we shared. Jesus will reunite us one sweet day. Your sister, Button, is lonely for you. The two of you were together almost 12 years. She now sleeps at the foot of the bed keeping watch as you did. We all miss you so much, but I know you are young, healthy, and running free among the stars now.
Your Mommy is God’s child and part of His creation, just as you are. God loves and cares for all His creation. We will all be together one glorious day. Never again will pain, disease, old age. and death cause us to cry and be sad. On that day, all tears of sadness
will be replaced with those of joy!
