Dear Lord,
Thank you for giving us the angel known as Benjamin in our lives for 5 1/2 years. His ridiculous, amazing face, enormous capacity for love and devotion to his family will never, ever be forgotten. Certainly, it can never be repaid. He has brought us more joy and laughter than we could ever reciprocate.
Lord, please watch over him and let him run free in the beautiful pastures of heaven. He was truly one of your special creatures and we are so deeply sorry we had to let him go. Our hearts are broken.
Benjamin, please pray for your family still on earth and watch and protect us just as you always have. We wait for the day when we can once again see your wagging tail, slobbering face and huge licks.
We love you with every fiber in us and always will. You have taken with you a piece of every heart that you have touched.
