Goodbye to my Special Friend
Who Loved me Like no Other
As we watched him Grow
He became part of our Home.
He would follow me Around
Like we were Brothers
In the Morning
I would give him a bone.
He would hit his blanket
And do his Roller Man Roll
Then Please can I have Another?
When I would open the Door
He would bring me his toy
And wiggle around all full of Joy.
He would nudge me with his Nose
Just to let me Know
There was something that he would need
Maybe just a pat on the Head
Or one of his favorite treats.
He would hog the bed at Night
And snore like he had the Right
Making us laugh all the Time
Like he was King for the Night.
So when he had to go
He Let me Know
Thanks for Giving Me
This Special great Life.
