I first brought my Sissy home when my daught was 1/2 years old. Five years later my son came along. My children grew up with Sissy and loved him more than anything. He was my friend, always there, never judging, just listening with quiet intent green eyes. About 5 years ago, Sissy got really sick and was diganozed with feline asthma. For two weeks he was at the vet clinic undergoing treatment, scared. I worked close to the vet clinic where my Sissy was being treated. So everyday, as faithful as he was to me, I spent my lunch hours sitting in his cage with him petting him and talking gently to him so he knew he was not abandoned. Just this past week, my Sissy left me suddenly. From the time he was five weeks old, to twelve years later I was there for him and he was there for me. Right down to his very last breathe and snugle of my nose. When Sissy passed he took a piece of my heart with him. He left this life knowing that I was with him to the very end, and he will continue to be with me until my very end. I miss him dearly and my heart aches to hold him in my arms. Sissy I love you, and we all miss you.
With all my love forever,
