Well Sammy Girl we made it through another year. But the past year 2007 was so sad for us. You left us in January. Christmas wasn’t the same without you, playing with the ornaments on the tree, trying to open presents, cause they smelled like bones or toys for all of you. Tammy, Sara and I went to Virginia for New Years to see Mikey. He just got home from Iraq. You did a great job on keeping him safe, by watching over him. Sara talks about you all the time. Whenever, she looks in the sky and sees a star she says “Look Nana, it is Sammy watching us”. Sometimes it makes me sad. But I know that you are not in pain anymore and are having a good time with all your new animal friends.
Please watch over all of us for the New Year and keep us safe from harm.
