Oh what a night that was! It was snowing hard…it was cold and Stubby was mad because he wanted to go out….I turned and walked into the living room…it was close to midnight…I felt him hit the small of my back! He was Manx and Siamese with his color Siamese with brown stripes. He had high hind quarters and his front legs were shorter and strong…His eyes were huge and blue and he always voiced his opinions as he followed you around the house either scolding or pleading for his own way and so pleased with himself when he got it. He was right at the door when I came home as if he heard my car and on a cold night…he slept close to me to keep me warm. He loved to eat steak with me.
He was strong, full of fun, yet sorry when he got mad at you and bit you! He would pat your cheek as if to say sorry and get mad if he didn’t get his own way. He was unique and yet he touched your heart so. He was destined to tug at my heart strings each night in the wee hours as he tried to keep me warm when it was cold and to heal me when I was sick….There will never be another like him….and I guess that is okay…but I sure miss him and always will dear Stubby!!
See you someday my heart,
