Snowy came into our life 16 years ago when my father in law found him as a stray kitten of about 6 weeks old. Pure white as the untouched snow after a storm, he became part of our family. Very independent he was, coming to you when he wanted to, but mostly liked to be alone either looking out the window or dozing curled on the couch.
He was a quiet boy too.

Very rarely did he meow because he knew that those beautiful green eyes got him anything he wanted. Although he was an inside cat, he did stay in the backyard with us in the summer and yes, he even took a swim in the pool. He got along great with our two dogs and even protected our birds and fish. Quite the charmer he was! About two months ago he was diagnosed with bone cancer in his rear left leg. It progressed so quickly that amputation of the leg was not possible. He was still able to sleep on his favorite couch and walk down stairs. Of course on only 3 legs though.

When the time came that he would no longer eat and just getting around seemed too difficult for him, we knew that we had a decision to make. We wanted him to go with the dignity he so deserved. It will remain the hardest one I’ll ever have to make. We had him cremated and are planning a funeral for him in our backyard. We miss him very much. He will always remain in our hearts. Goodbye Snowy we love you.

Forever in our hearts,
