It has been over a year since you my precious
family members have been gone.
I have been reading the tributes that
I wrote on the days that you died.
Thanks to this web site
I had a place to pour out the tears in my heart.
To some people animals are just pets to be left
in the back yard or treated cruelly.
I never realize how many people truly cared
so much for their little friends
until I read so many heart breaking stories.
I think of my sweet little friends so often and visit their graves often.
They are buried on my property in the mountains and
it is a beautiful site overlooking a pond and
nearby mountains and valleys.
I have decided to have my ashes sprinkled there when I pass.
I will be happy to be with my precious girls.
They gave me so much joy and Bobbi Casey
and Nikki lived to be over 17 years old.
The one consolation that I have is that they only lived
that long because of the great care they got from their mom and dad.
I know that they are still here because ever once in a while
I will feel a brush against my leg and nothing is there when I look down.
I have seen a black lab and a little black and tan dog now and
then where there shouldn’t be
and when I take a second look they are gone.
I guess they are still looking after me.
I will miss you always girls and
will visit you soon as I just did yesterday.
The wild flowers are growing over your graves and
it is a beautiful sight.
