You were a very loved little mouse,
the best little pet in the house.
When you died I was so sad,
the way you passed was very bad.
You tore the skin right off your leg,
and now I hope I pray I beg,
that you made it up safe and nice,
to Heaven with the other mice.
It's so hard to say good-bye,
now and again I ask myself "why"?
Now you're at peace and I am glad,
when I think of the good times,
I'm no longer sad.
