In April 1987 our lives changed when we brought Chaka into our home. She was a part of our family for 19 years. Chaka was an apricot poodle with lots of personality. She traveled to many places with us and lived in 3 different homes. She met her brother D’Anjelo at 9 years of age. She initially gave him a hard time, but eventually came to love him as much as we love her. When we decided to purchase our new home in 2002, Chaka christened the grounds and admired the lake. She found her final resting place outside our home on Saturday, July 15th. She departed this life on Thursday, July 13, 2006 at approximately 2:30PM after quietly slipping away in the same lake that she was so enamoured with.
