OUR BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL CHOW CHARDONNAY
LEFT FOR THE RAINBOW BRIDGE LAST MONDAY JULY 17TH
AT APPROXIMATELY 9:30 P.M.
JUST AS THE FIREWORKS FROM DISNEYLAND WERE EXPLODING
AND THE FULL MOON WAS RISING.
I USED TO TAKE “CHAR” OUT EACH EVENING TO WATCH
THE FIREWORKS,- I WATCHED THE FIREWORKS; SHE SNIFFED THE GRASS,
TINKLED AND WAITED FOR ME. IT WAS OUR SPECIAL TIME TOGETHER
– APART FROM HER MATE CABERNET AND TWO OF HER “PUPPIES”
TEN YEAR OLD BUBBA AND PRINCESS.
CHAR WAS AN “ONLY DOG” FOR ABOUT A YEAR AND A HALF
BEFORE WE BROUGHT CABERNET INTO OUR LIVES.
SHE WAS WITH ME ALMOST EVERY WAKING AND ASLEEP HOUR;
SHE EVEN WENT TO WORK WITH ME.
WE RECEIVED OUR “PET” NAMES WHEN A FRIEND SENT US
A “WELCOME TO THE NEW BABY” CARD AND ADDRESSED IT
TO “MOMMY AND DADDY PUPPY”.
NOW DUE TO THE TUMOR CHAR IS WAITING AT RAINBOW BRIDGE.
(MY [PRECIOUS CHAR I HOPE YOU HAVE FOUND WELLINGTON
WHO HAS BEEN WAITING FOR TWO YEARS FOR YOUR ARRIVAL.)
GOOD BYE MY DARLING EVEN THOUGH I KNEW THE TIME WAS NEAR
I DIDN’T REALIZE HOW TERRIBLY WE’D MISS YOU.
(DADDY PUPPY TOOK OUT FOUR BREAKFAST BOWLS YESTERDAY.)
YOU WILL ALWAYS BE #1 TO US.
WE LOVE YOU!!!
MOMMY AND DADDY PUPPY
