Its been 1 1/2 years since God took you home.
I still cry when I think of how sweet and loving you were.
You were my only “Red” dog.
My beautiful Golden Retriever who lived to play with
tennis balls and please me.
Dakota Flirt & Sunny Rose are sweet Goldens too but none
of them has your ability to catch fetch & mind Momma.
You lived only to please us.
I remember when Sunny Rose and her litter mates were born
& Flirt didn’t want any other dogs around her babies.
When we brought them back from the vet when they were just
1 day old we let you peek in the box.
We told you not to touch them and you sniffed each one
and never touched one of them.
Just 2 months later you were gone!
Taken from us at the tender age of 7 by cancer.
I visited your grave last Saturday with Daddy and we put your
Christmas tree and decorations up.
You are gone from our lives but never forgotten.
Until we meet at the bridge be a good girl.
Wait for me —
I love you my first Golden baby.
