Prince Paws,
You have been with me for almost all my life, since I was 4 years old.. We grew up together!As a kitten, you were so perfect, and we used to guess what materials God put you together with- Copper for your eyes, Velvet for your nose and paws, and of course curly black fur for the rest of you. I laugh thinking how you truly were “king” of the house, no matter who, came in after you, they never messed with you. I hope you never told the others how I favored you, and I probably always will.
I just want to thank you for always being there for me. You were better than a human friend. You knew all my secrets and never told. I think I told you everthing, as if you could understand. You always kept me company, and I knew to expect you sleeping on my bed, when I
came home from school.
After Daddy passed away, I know you tried to comfort me by always staying with me at night, as if you knew I was sad… I thank you for that, and for helping to bring smiles to me to replace those tears. I would look in your eyes and say “I love you” and I know, you understood.. Curley, I will see you again one day, know I love you. ..
Prince, follow the rainbow bridge and Daddy will be on the other side. Hug him and tell him I love him and I think of him all the time. Make sure you play with Mugsy and Simba, and I’m sure Mugz will show you the ropes in heaven. Give him a kiss for me too…and know we will all be
together one sweet day.
