Dakota by Sandy Oklen / Sandy

To my “Sweetie” Dakota Oklen

My beautiful cat, who was taken from me too soon.

She left behind her brother Baily and two step sisters:
Tia and Scruff.

You accomplished and grew so much in the two short years I had you. You had so many years ahead of you. It pains me greatly that we’ll never have that time to spend together.

I will however always have the memories of time we did spend together. I will cherish these memories always. You brought great joy in my life and I’ll always be indebted to you for that. You changed my life in so many way that wasn’t aware of until you were gone. Mostly I learn to put others needs before my own.

You were such a interesting personality from the start. Always curious and interested about everything. When something was new or out of place you’d be the first to investigate. From the start you were always fascinated with water, especially flowing water.

You were a small cat but you had big bark. You weren’t afraid to chase down big dogs. You loved playing with string or chasing stuff.

There is so much more to mention and say about you, but I have to end this now. Dakota I’ll miss seeing you lying on top of my computer tower. I can only hope that you are happy and content where ever you are. I just hope you are there waiting for me when my time comes. I look
forward to that day.

Rest in peace Dakota. You’re always in my thoughts.
