The last time I heard your painful cry
Was just before you were free of pain and died.
You were always there to comfort and care
Now no longer can you be there.
When you died you took a piece of my heart too,
I will always be gone it was only for you.
So sad to say but you are gone
The memories of you will go on and on.
I will never forget you in the coming days,
And never forget your special ways
Gone from the earth but not my heart
So sad that so soon we had to part.
I must bring myself to say so long,
But friend in my heart you will never be gone.
