DUKE
Duke (Dukie) age 6 years 9 mos. passed away Wednesday January 11, 2006, after a brief battle with insulinoma. With him at the time were all of “his” people. Duke was a very happy, friendly and outgoing dog whose motto was “I never met a person I didn’t like” (except Jim Cole). He had a great love of life, and was especially fond of riding in the boat, playing keep away with big brother Shadow, and snuggling with Dad. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his Mommy and Daddy, Patrick, big brother Shadow, brother cat Trooper. Duke’s passing leaves a hole in all of our hearts and memories that will last a lifetime. Duke gave everything he had to his family and kept nothing for himself. We are deeply grateful we had him. If only we had had more time together.
