It was a Friday in 2001 at 6 pm my dad came to pick me up at my mom’s house. As we were 5 minutes away from our house he says Amber daddy has a suprise for you. I said daddy what is it?When we got in to the house he said go look in the bathroom, so I opened the door and there was this puppy; he was black and some brown on his face. I said dad thank you so much. I said what’s his name? My dad said his name is Fubey and he is one years old.
Fubey loved to swim. We taught him (dad) a year after we got him. He loved boat rides; he would jump in the boat before us, so we would take him. He was loved by many in the neighborhood. I married him in October 2003, to Cinnomen. We fitted the wedding dress on him before we dressed Cinnomen in it. Their wedding song was “Amazing Grace”. He loved to come with us and ride in the truck everywhere we go. On Christmas of 2004 we got him a new bed, a dish for food and water and a shirt that said ROCK AND ROLL OVER.
On April 20,2006, we came home at 6 pm. Maxine was crying and barking; we notice Fubey was no where in sight. My dad called him. He didn’T come to us like we usually did when we called him. My dad found him. He was asleep on the other side of his bed, but he didn’t awake when we called him. He died that day.
We buried him and made a grave with flowers and rocks, and we put a little gate by the grave. We cried that day while looking at pictures of him…Fubey Doo, you will forever be in our hearts. You were loved by many. We will never forget you.
You will always live within us.
