Death’s Door 2/7/2005

Never to far away, it’s always ajar,
damn death’s door, he’s my little boy.
Yes he went behind death’s door today,
to visit Grammy, my brothers and sisters.

Never go please, just close the door
it takes your breath, memories away.
Only strangers knock at death’s door
it plays no favorites, it opens for fools.

Never surrender a life, yes lock the door,
bones taken with you are here inside of me.
Life was placed at death’s door this very day
and reality goes on; goes on without you Guy.
