Heidi’s story is one of courage and love for her family.
One Friday night Heidi
who was 16 yrs. old blind and deaf walked away from our house.
We live in country and looked with no luck for hours and days.
Five days later a hunter found her.
Her weight was now only 5 pounds.
She was starved dehydrated covered in maggots.
After spending several days and nights at our local vet and
emergency vet hospital
Heidi came home only to improve daily.
She seemed to have a new happiness.
She was spoiled and loved more than ever before.
The vets could not believe her turn around.
It was known as a true miracle.
On October 27th (roughly 1 1/2 weeks after Heidi’s ordeal)
Heidi suffered a stroke.
We had to make the heart breaking decision to stop all of her suffering.
Heidi showed us that you should never give up
under any kind of adverse situation.
We know that Heidi is in heaven and
she is able to see hear and run around.
God bless the vets and Heidi for being able to give us
two of the best weeks of Heidi’s life.
