I have tried to write this story several times and had to stop to find just the right words. In March of 2004 I lost my Yorkie Main Street Abby to cancer. My heart was so empty and even though I still had other Yorkies I wanted to add to our family. We found Teddy a blind Yorkie puppy that fit well into our family but the older “girls”” did not want to play with him. So, I got back on Pet Finder to find another rescue dog, this time a Maltese that would be able to be Teddy’s friend and playmate. Every day I looked and on October 20, 2004 a new little face appeared. It was a tiny little Maltese named Gordon.
