You weren't with us for a very long time
But in those few months you truly became mine.
What a great friend you turned out to be
Sitting on my lap or snuggling next to me.
Your meow was so small barely there
But you had such a big heart under all that black hair.
Watching me at work wanting to play
Knowing I'd never send you away.
Suddenly you were gone and it was too much to bear
Looking outside knowing you weren't there.
