HOW DO I SAY GOODBYE
How do I say goodbye to my very best friend,
a little boy I’ve known and loved right up until
the end.
You came into our lives on a sunny April day,
I never knew what an imprint on my heart you
would lay
Your button eyes and little black nose, were the
first things I adored,
Who knew all the laughter and the tears that
we would endure.
You laid your head upon my hands and I looked into your eyes and then very peacefully you went
to sit by Gods’ side.
