Kessie was my “grandkitty” — my grandchildren’s and daughter’s cat. She was such a beautiful sweet little girl who was taken away from us way too soon. Her loss confirms my belief that kids and cats are not a good mix. One of the kids let her out of the house and she got hit by a car and went to die alone and in pain under a car in the driveway. Poor little girl never deserved such a fate. Perhaps she is happy now, waiting at the Rainbow Bridge with some of her friends who’ve gone on before … waiting until we can see her and hold her in our arms again. Sleep well, darling Kessie.
