Lacey was a Rottweiler and she was a beautiful one at that.
She was playful and loved children she loved company and everything.
Lacey became sick with hip displasia.
She was OK in the beginning but it kept getting worse and worse.
The pain got so bad that she eventually started not using her leg
and it became extremely swollen.
Then Lacey came down with cancer in her leg.
We had no choice but to put Lacey down. She was put down in the barn
with my dad and step-mom standing by her side. It was very sad.
I’ll always remember coming to visit my dad and step-mom one
weekend and calling for the dogs by the window.
My Golden Retriever Sandy came running with my Dalmatian Buddy
following not far behind. I remember saying Lacey Lacey.
But there was no response. Then I said to my dad where is Lacey and
her collar was up on the counter and tears filled my eyes because
I knew they had put her down.
I miss her very much and dedicate this website to her.
Lacey you are in my prayers and we all miss you and
love you very much .
You remain in our hearts forever.
To anyone who has lost a pet just remember they are always by
your side to guide you in the dark.
And they love you very much!!!
