Cat
LiL’ Bit was a very special cat.
He was a loving little thing and we didn’t know if he would make it
because he was small at birth and very weak.
But he made it. Up until a few weeks ago he was fine and strong.
We didn’t know he was this sick.
His granny( Sharon) was going to take him to the vet…
but he all of a sudden got better for a while.
Then he got a lot worse. He was fine for a few days until about 5:00 AM
when his Grandpa (Rickey) found him slumped over on his side not moving.
He still wasn’t dead so his granny wrapped him in a towel and
held for the longest time then she put him down in
a special box made for him.
He stayed there for a while until finally he somehow got
the strength to climb out.
We put him back in and he only got out once more.
After that we put him a cozy blanket in there and that is where he stayed
until his passing.
At about 3:00 I was still awake looking after him when I heard him
kind of give a soft little groan and he turned over to see what
he was doing and he was still alive but his
heartbeat really slow.
A few minutes later I came back and checked on him again and
he was still breathing hanging on. I didn’t think he was going
to be able to make it much longer on his own and
about 6:00 he finally lost his battle.
We still don’t know how he held on as long as he did.
God Bless you Bit
We loved you.
