Loui was a German Shepard. She was 8 years old. She was a spunky dog, always into mischief. She would babysit the two younger dogs and make sure they were ok. She loved to swim in the pond and chase the horses. When she stopped chasing the horses,
we knew her time was ended.
Loui had arthritis in both of her back hips. She went from a healthy 65 lb. dog down to 25 lbs. She got where she would not leave the back porch. And everytime you looked into her eyes you could see the pain. On Sept. 12, 2008, I made the decision to have her euthanised. It was the hardest decision I have ever had to make. Till this day, I wonder if I made the right decision. My Loui, rest in peace my girl, you are no longer suffering. We all miss you and love you so very much.
