I would like to share the story of my baby boy Lucky who came into my life for just a short time. Lucky was my baby although I only had him for a few short days I grew so attached to him. When I got Lucky he was very sick.
My neighbor called and asked us if we wanted to take him to the vet and keep him. We said, yes, and went to pick him up. When we got there the spunky little puppy that I had seen just four days before was now a week little baby. I took him to the vet and they automatically told us that they wanted to put him down. I told them, no, that I wanted to keep him and let him be at home when he died. The vet told us he had baby shacken syndrome and he would not make it through. I held him and cried and prayed to god that he would survive. Lucky died in my arms on my Birthday Aug. 24, 03.
