I remember the day we finally released you from our family and gave you back to God. I held you close and whispered into your silky spotted ears. I remember looking into your eyes and I remember how they almost said “thank you I will see you someday again soon”. You knew you were going you knew the time had come. Yet you showed no fear. I cried into your perfect face and held you as you breathed your last breath. I felt you leave this world I knew you were at peace. Maggie May my dearest friend I grew up with you I hope you are running and free. May the grass be green may you have all the “biscuits” you desire and may you be there when I cross the bridge. All my love eternally.
