Maxwell by Russ, Sandy and Racheal DeMoss /
Mommy, Daddy, Sissie and Aunt Shirley

It seems like it was yesterday we adopted you from the Humane Shelter. I saw your big pointed ears, button eyes and scruffy fur and knew I was in love. You gave us so many gifts; laughter, companionship, loyalty and even a shoulder to cry on when mommy felt nobody in the world cared. You were the best listener and our fierce protector.

Maxwell, we’re so sorry that we didn’t how sick you were sooner. I’m so sorry that we probably let you hang on alittle longer than we should have. We believed the specialist that everything was ok and I so wanted to believe it was true.
You made such a difference in our lives and the lives of everyone that came in contact with you.

We miss you terrible, and I will always have a piece of my heart missing (you took it with you). But I know you would want us to be happy so we will go on and remember all the happy times you gave us and what a wonderful boy you were.
Have fun playing with the other dogs and cats (your favorite), Take naps in the sun, and someday will be together again to take naps in the recliner and eat doritos. Rest in peace baby boy you deserve it.
