Mickey was such a funny little cat.
He had different ways of doing things.
My hubby always said that he wasn’t quite right,
but I didn’t care. To me he
was my special, special boy.
He could never drink water like most cats.
At his water bowl, he would have to scratch
the floor several times with each paw
in a rhythmic way about him.
He then could drink. He also wanted me to
turn the water on in the bathroom sink,
so he could dip his paw under the stream
and lick his paw. He was peculiar with
water…..I wonder how times I’ve turned
the water on and off for him.

I loved you so much. It was always
just you and I. I really felt
like your mommy…..I knew how you needed me.
