To dearest Ming my cherished friend.
I dread the tears your death will send.
I hope your life's been happy--
Content-with food and warmth inside.
To all those cats less fortunate,
My heart is open wide.
I ignore the calls I hear-
As nature beckons you away from me.
Knowing that you'll go someday-
That's the way it has to be.
Until that day I'll hold you close.
Remembering what joy you bring.
My friend my companion my
unforgettable
Ming.
