Nala was a life long friend to me. She was there for me all through my pregnancy and when I was sick she never left my side. If I was sad she was sad; if I cried she wiped my tears. She got into the pasture one day with our stud horse and he broke her back and we had to have her put to sleep. I have never lost a parent but as far as death goes, that is one of the hardest things I have ever done when I buried her. She is still loved and missed dearly.
