OLIVER by JIM, GRACE, LISA MCGREGOR / Dad, Mum and Lisa

You were an abandoned 5 week old kitten when we found you, so wild and scared, but a beautiful ball of red and white fluff. But you knew we would never hurt you and only love you. We found out you had a brain stem problem when you were a year old, the vets told us you would be fine but never live to be an old cat, gave us around 3 to 5 years. We loved you so much Ollie and laughed how you guarded your garden, chasing any of the stray cats who came into the garden. When you used to thump down the hallway with those huge paws and used to paddy-pad our bodies with those huge paws and your houdest purr, we called you Ollie-two stroke because of your loud purr and that sweetest permanent frown on your face – our Ollie cross face. What a special boy you were.

Sadly the vets were right and your body aged quicker than it should have, you were an old cat at only 6 years old and you were tired and frail. You passed away peacefully at home in Dad’s arms and mum was talking to you. We miss you so much our Ollie cross face. Sleep peacefully our special boy. You are with your brother Toby and your labbie friend MacGuyver and look after little Bee-Gee.

Climb all the trees you can find Oliver. We will never forget you our special boy.

ALL OUR LOVE
