Ollie’s spirit in the hall,
it bounces like a ping pong ball.
I feel his presence everywhere.
Ollie’s hairs still on the stairs,
his paw steps echo from the floor,
his shadow lingers at the door,
his scratches on the welcome mat
yes, Ollie WAS a WELCOME cat.
