Our Little Friend “ONO” came to us via the pound, blind in one eye and physically abused, and for seven years she brought much JOY, PURPOSE and HAPPINESS to our HOME and LIVES.
Fighting a two year battle with Cushing’s and Myotonia Disease, our Vet referred to her as his Little Trooper,
Each morning my husband would put her in our homemade stroller and take her for her morning walk and morning duties, unable to walk on her own he acted as her legs. ONO gradually lost most of her physical abilities along with her hearing, but she never lost the ability to show LOVE and AFFECTION.
Standing by our bed she would make a little bark, and of course that meant “put me on the bed and let’s play”, standing next to the pantry door, with a bark meant “Hey how about a treat?” Standing next to the porch door, with a double bark meant “lets go play with the ducks, and of course standing with no bark, but a deep stare meant “LET’S EAT”. Because she had a hard time swallowing, it was easier for her to eat if we hand fed her, this way her head was up, so you see, She trained us very well..and we enjoy every minute.
Well Our Little Friend has left us to be with God, Our hearts ache beyond belief. We are so Thankful for all our wonderful Memories and the time we had. She was a true Little Trooper who is now with the ANGELS, Safely in GOD’S hands and care
