I remember it all like it was yesterday even though my passing was almost 4 years ago. My body was weak and shaken from the poison the tan taller man had given me. My eyes began to flood with worry and pain. What was wrong with me, everything was different, it was spinning. Finally I managed my way to the front door. I couldn’t walk right My paws felt heavy under my 89 pounds of body and muscle. I looked up to the door and gave a soft whine, it opened but the one I loved the most was not there, but her caregiver.
Memories began to flood me, she wasn’t here to be with me and help me get out of this pain. She was at the large place called school. So I crawled under the largest bed in the house and tried to sleep the pain and worry off, but soon everything in my life changed, I began to shake violently and foam at the mouth. I tried to raise to my once sturdy paws but they gave out on me.
Soon I was rushed to the vet where I knew I was slipping away. The only thing that made me hold on was to say good-bye to her, my master, my mother, and my best friend. I was growing weak soon she arrived and held me in her arms as the vet’s gave me a poke with the needle.
I soon died, in the arms of my best friend Heather. I now watch over her everyday and am sure that her new dogs Beau and Moe will not fall victim to the tragic murder that happened to me. This is the story from Brandi’s point of view…..she shall always be missed.
