I never knew how much joy you would bring me the day I brought you home from the pound. We truly had a connection that not many would understand. I thank God everyday for bringing you into my life. As much as I will always miss and love you, it gives me such peace and happiness to know you are no longer suffering.
You definitely are a fighter and the most feisty dog I have ever known. Remembering your strength over the past year is what is going to help me have the strength to get through the days to come. You are now in heaven, and you are able to walk and see once again. You can have all of the treats you want and still continue to take your long naps.
