Dear doggie,
You don’t know me, I simply heard
about your tragic death from a work colleague.
My heart is breaking when I think of the
pain and agony you went through
at the hands of burgulars in your home
while you were there alone.
How they could do what
they did to you is simply unthinkable.
You poor precious baby,
you only lived 3 years of your life and
it ended in such a senseless way.
Your family must have been horrified
to come home and find you in such a way.
I hope they can find peace
in all this heartache.
Where you are now though,
no one will ever hurt you again.
I hope you are running and playing
in the fields with all your new friends.
I never knew you, yet,
you will always have a little place
in my heart.
