The love and companionship you brought to our lives is immeasurable. How can I express the sense of loss after the 16 wonderful years we were allowed to have you in our lives? I am heartbroken. If I could only pet your sweet head one more time…but your struggle to stay with us has ended and you have moved on. Your loving Boy Brian stayed with you for your last hour with us and in that way, he was able to thank you for your special protection and love of him.
You were his angel guide when he was only two and you went with him exploring. You saw that he was brought home safely. What more loving gift can a being bring? Life will be sad and empty without you in our home and I will always hear your paws click on the floor, and your sweet bark will always be in my heart. I love you so much, sweet Rocky dog and I am so, so sad that you’re gone.
