We lost our beloved Tyler Ben on December 22, 2004
Someone gave me this poem that expresses exactly how we feel.
There is something missing in my house,
I feel it everyday
I know it will take time and strength
Before things feel quite right,
But just for now, I need to mourn,
Though some may say, “It’s just a pet,”
I know I lost a friend.
He bought such laughter to my home,
and richness to my days.
A contant friend through joy or loss
with gentle, loving ways.
COMPANION, FRIEND, and CONFIDANTE,
A friend I won’t forget.
He’ll live forever in my heart,
