To our baby, Shadow, whom we rescued March 29, 2003 and lost exactly three years later. You weren’t with us long, but your courage, dignity and incredible acceptance of whatever life threw you inspired us and made us love you so much.
You came to us with many physical challenges, but through it all you were kind, happy and very loving. You were an angel here on earth, and I know now you are now an illness free angel in heaven. And I’ll bet you were glad to see Eddie. And I’m sure he was surprised to see you so soon after his own passing in December.
Rest in peace, sweetheart. Daddy and I will never forget you, and we know we’ll see you and Eddie again.
