I am a 37 yr old woman who is grieving the loss of a beloved girl…we made the difficult choice to put her to sleep yesterday- That’s Friday, Oct.13 th 2006. A day I will never forget. This special girl was with me way before I met my husband ten years ago- in fact, when we met she was already an old girl, and yet she held out for 2 1/2 years after we had our son. I was fortunate enough to have been a part of her life for 18 long years. I would give anything to have 18 more. Shammy will be forever missed and loved, and never forgotten. I love you, girl.
