Silver the sweetest wisest cat I’ve ever known. He touched our entire family with his quiet loving presence. An “old soul,” he seemed to know much about life and calmly looked on as a guardian angel of sorts to the people he loved. When he passed away the corners of the house seemed darker empty because he wasn’t curled up there sending us his “blinky-kisses.” Five years later we all still miss him. He was less a pet and more our teacher.
