When I lost my cat a part of me died…
When last I heard that sorrowful cry……
The terrible pain, the last meow….
I cried in vain, Lord take him now…
So take him he did to a better place,
But now I can no longer see his face…..
So now I pray that I never forget,
The simple things that made him my pet.
Spirit, I will never forget you and hope you forgive me. I will love you always..til we meet at the bridge my sweet gentle Spirit.
