It was so hard to let you go.
As much as my heart said no,
I knew I had to do it for you.
The years you were with us seem so few.
A little ball of black and white fur
So cute and furry-how you loved to purr.
Your favorite game was hide and seek
As I pretended I couldn't find you,
You would come around the corner and give me a peek.
You're with your little buddy Harvey now
But I know some day some way some how
As my journey in life comes to an end
I will see you again...
My little furry friend.
