On a sunny day, a cat was born
On that day he sat in the sun
That day i named him Sunny.
He sat outside, in the sun
He grew into a big tom cat.
The memories of so much fun,
i will never forget that.
On that day
in the sun
he crossed the street
to have some fun.
But on that night,
In terrible fright,
a car came by
and took his life.
The very next day
daddy took him away
and burried him by the lake.
We wondered for weeks,
where could he be?
My beautiful Sunny Boy?
With a tear in his eye
about to cry
he told me of the journey
Sunny took to the sky.
Sunny is gone
and i never got to say
I love you big boy,
goodbye.
