Tess was our family dog. My grown kids are fond of saying that if she had thumbs, she would have made them lunches as I always worked and gave them lunch money.
This will be our first Christmas (since she came into our lives, known as Tessmas) without her. I started pulling out tree ornaments and found a bird’s nest lined with Tess fur. She would allow the birds to land on her an pull out tufts of fur while she shedded.
This holiday will be difficult…
