Peek-a-Poo Mix

Tipsi you will never know how you stole our hearts.

Even though you were not so friendly to others you loved me

& Barry and we loved you fiercely back.

Remember when you used to race down the hall at our house

at Foothills and push your nose up against the bedroom door?

Then I would open it & you’d jump on the bed to wake your dad up.

And we’d play “hat” and you’d pretend to growl so fiercely

and you were so cute when you’d feint with your front feet.

And you loved to ride in “Mr. Truck” hanging so far out the window

everyone thought you’d fall out!

Then when you couldn’t get on the bed Barry built you a

special ramp so you could still climb up;and we’d let you lie on

the papa-san or wherever you wanted.

We couldn’t say “candy” or “ride” or “go”; we ‘d have to spell

them cause you knew!

You’d always prance so after your grooming you knew you were

handsome and you knew Barry was gonna kiss you

(even though you’d pretend to “fang” him especially when he tried

to kiss your “paw-paw” pads).

Then when you got older & couldn’t get around so good you

still always wanted to go for walks & go with us & be “part of the pack”.

Oh baby my heart aches so every day I miss you so much and

I am so sorry we couldn’t have spent more time together because

I always had to work and we moved so much.

I think of you every day I pray that God has you happy & healthy

and waiting for me & Barry. You were so much a part of me,

I just didn’t appreciate how much; you took a big piece of my

soul with you when you went on ahead.

Please please forgive me and know how much

I always loved you and always will.

You were and are my true best friend;

play & be happy & save me a place right by your side.

I miss you son.

Love you so much,

Linda & Barry
