Tyke by Jill / Your Family (Jill, Mele, Sebastian & Witney)

When my mom broke both her wrists she came to stay with us. Every night Tyke would sleep by her side and stay there until she would get up, even if that wasn’t until late in the morning. He would pass up breakfast treats and greeting visitors just to stay with her. If I would enter the room he would gently lay a paw across her legs as if to say
“I’ve got this covered.”

He would sit patiently with his head on my Grandmother’s lap at Thanksgiving so she could pet him while all the other dogs ran around and played.

You gave so much of yourself to us. We will miss hearing you, seeing you, hugging you and playing with your ears! You have left behind so many friends. Please visit often. Our hearts and minds will be open to any little sign you would like to send our way.

Love,
Tyke
Jill
